Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya did not have the easiest time on 90 Day Fiancé season 8, leaving fans to wonder what they're up to now. The bickering couple had viewers split over whether or not they would make it down the aisle after a season of drama and issues for the Ukrainian and American pair. Jovi demonstrated himself to be unable to grow up and shed his hard-partying image, which included visits to his beloved strip club. That left a stressed-out and pregnant Yara torn over what her next move should be.
Though viewers saw the couple receive their happy ending in the season finale and subsequent special episode, the events depicted happened several years ago. The season finale saw Jovi and Yara saying "I do" in Las Vegas complete with an Elvis impersonator. The couple had cold feet up until the very last minute, though they decided to tie the knot. Meanwhile, Jovi's mother, Gwen, handed her son over to his new wife. Though Yara was uncertain about Jovi and Jovi admitted marriage would be hard work, the couple appeared happy to be together. A lot has happened between them since then.

Jovi & Yara Welcomed Their Daughter Mylah
& Appeared Again In The 90 Day Fiancé Franchise
90 Day Fiancé season 8's subsequent special depicted the couple welcoming their newborn daughter, Mylah, into the world. Gwen stepped up to support a pregnant Yara when the pandemic delayed Jovi for four months during a work trip. Though Jovi continued to stay out late partying and drinking while pregnant Yara remained at home, he appeared to take their daughter's birth seriously. Fans hoped that Jovi and Yara would develop a successful and evolved relationship. After season 8, Jovi and Yara appeared in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, where their lives as new parents were highlighted.
Jovi and Yara continued to have the same problems about Yara feeling alone because of Jovi's demanding job. However, they showcased their ability to work together to raise Mylah when she was a little baby. They were still living around the New Orleans area with their then-seven-month-old daughter, Mylah Angelina. The couple has stated that they have no plans for baby number two anytime soon, as baby Mylah is currently taking all of their attention.
Once the camera crew wrapped, the couple did indeed stay together and appeared in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7. Jovi has stepped up to learn more about fatherhood, though many viewers have been questioning his ability to mature. The Louisiana native recently cleared up some rumors by appearing on 90 Day Bares All. Jovi admitted that he lied about strippers and did sleep with one.
He also clarified that he had not had an ex pee in his bed, as Yara had claimed. In season 7, viewers also watch the pair and Mylah go to Europe, and Yara was pushing Jovi to let her buy an apartment there because she wanted to move back to Europe. Jovi put his foot down, and Yara relented. However, she was as pushy as ever to move out of Louisiana.
Jovi & Yara Have Appeared In More 90 Day Fiancé Spinoffs
Including One Highlighting Their Troubled Marriage
Outside of their appearances in the OG show, Happily Ever After? and Bares All, Jovi and Yara have stayed busy appearing on other shows in the franchise. After HEA season 7, Jovi and Yara were featured on several episodes of 90 Day Diaries, where they visited potential places they wanted to move to, including Houston. Jovi and Yara also starred alongside several other messy 90 Day Fiancé couples in the therapy-based spinoff 90 Day: The Last Resort season 1.
During the season, Yara came clean about being on birth control behind Jovi's back because she was not ready to have a second child. Jovi was crushed by the news and the lie. Jovi also admitted that he got a job offer closer to home in Louisiana, but he turned it down because he liked his on-and-off schedule despite Yara's many complaints about it. Yara was very upset by Jovi's revelation.
Moreover, Jovi's old stripper habit reared its head again, as he snuck away from the therapy resort, called a former stripper that he dated, and went to the strip club with the other men of the season. When Yara found out she cried, and it proved Jovi was not a changed man. Jovi and Yara did promise to work on their flaws together and stay in the marriage. Outside of their time on 90 Day: The Last Resort, Jovi and Yara have become staples of the Pillow Talk spinoff, where they give their commentary and opinions on currently airing seasons.
Yara & Jovi Are Very Present Online
Yara Has 791k Instagram Followers
While Jovi and Yara have maintained their place in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, Yara has seen her popularity skyrocket since appearing on 90 Day Fiancé season 8. The mother opened her own online clothing boutique after many viewers expressed an interest in her beauty routine and fashion sense. Yara frequently shares photos of her outfits on Instagram with her 175K followers. She also opens up to audiences on her YouTube channel.
The Ukrainian beauty rapidly lost her baby weight, which had previously created confusion as some fans doubted she had ever been pregnant. Though Yara and Jovi do not frequently share photos of themselves together, such as fellow season 8 couple Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina, they have gotten a lot of traveling in. The couple has visited places like Europe, Texas, and Los Angeles with Mylah in tow.
Jovi and Yara's continued journey will likely contain more tears and drama while Yara continues to mature into her role of a loving mother and grow her business and brand. Perhaps Jovi will surprise viewers by revealing a more mature version of himself. Many fans are also looking forward to seeing Gwen likely return, as the mother-in-law ultimately proved to be the support Yara needed. Fortunately for fans, Jovi and Yara appear to have tenured spots with their reign on 90 Day Fiancé.
